Headlight Comment: It requires you drop the bumper among other advanced level skills. If you are not comfortable doing it - just bring it to the service shop and have them do it. It looks like a 2 hour job for a pro and a 14 day, profanity laced death march for an amateur like me.

However, the brake lights - could not find a single piece of info online on how to get at the wiring to disconnect the existing tail light (the one on the rear quarter panel) . The new part was "only" $150 and a one day service manual look-see was $29.95 (a full year is yours for the low, low price of $3000) .

Long story short. The first 2 bolts are easy. Getting to the G.D. wiring harness is the 30 minute, profanity laced portion that saps your will to live. Here is how to do it.

All I ask is that you raise a favorite beverage to salute me..or curse me.

I don't think I'd attempt that headlight procedure without at least one other person to help hold the bumper cover during removal and re-installation. I replaced the headlights and tailights on my last car (headlights 3 times due to faulty replacement units and having to prove that to the seller) and this looks pretty similar. I don't know if I'd do something like that again, it would be dependent on the cost of paying someone to do it, $300 or less? I'd pay that.
