Hi, I installed the roof racks with the assistance of the seller. On the link below you have detailed instructions for the CX30 2020+, along with useful video material (especially part from 2 "30" to 3 '51 ").

Pay attention to the distance settings shown for Kit 145238.

As far as I know, the Thule configurator recognizes the options for 5 types of roof racks for the "normal roof" version and all according to the "clamps" system, without OEM longitudinal rails.

Has anybody tried this MotorFansClub Roof Rack Cross Bars on their CX-30? They seem to be more slimline compared to the Mazda OEM Crossbars. They also have a 200lb capacity which is higher than the OEM crossbars.

Yakima makes a roof rack for the CX-30 that requires the plastic channel running down each side of the roof to be removed. That means each summer, I’ll be driving around with that channel exposed. It’s more of a concern for looks than functionality.
my CX-30 came with a bare roof, no rails at all. The Mazda roof rack onlysupports 100 lb, which my two kayaks would be 4 lb over that,Yakima’s are 165 capacity. I don’t need to pull the trigger for 5 months or so, might wait to see what options everyone has at that point.
You can purchase original moldings with removable caps above fixed mounting points. And here is how it look Yakima Roof Rack

Greetings,
Now I realize that after I installed roof rails on my car, I have a variant of crossbars from Thule: Thule Wingbar Edge (more elegant look compared to Wingbar Evo or Squarebar Evo).
Yakima's products look the same as Thule's.

Perhaps some of the participants still found more aesthetically pleasing options, as for example, the crossbars for CX-3 once looked like (shown below)
The options I found on this forum converge on one of the above vendors or stories about unnamed crossbars from Amazon that turned out to be of poor quality.

You are right, it's not normal to have the channels exposed like that. I don't know if the one sold by Mazda include sections of covers for aesthetic ?

So I still looking for the perfect system; simple, functionnal and resistant. Did you find it ?

I always bought Thule in the pass.

Thanks for helping me.
