I'm considering upgrading my 2021 CX-30's brake lines to improve pedal feel and performance.

I've read that a stainless steel braided hose can reduce expansion under pressure, offering a firmer brake response. Has anyone here installed stainless steel braided hoses on their CX-30?

What brands did you use, and how was the installation process? Also, did you notice a significant improvement in braking performance?

Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated on stainless steel braided hose!

I recently acquired a set for my 30 from Cork Sport. I haven't installed them yet but I don't expect anything out of the usual remove, replace and bleed all.
I am probably 3 weeks out from installing.

 

The CorkSport lines are on my shortlist as well.

 

I got the as lines from corksport and was the best thing I’ve done. I hated the way the car braked and felt in the pedal.

Also changed the rotors and pads. Cheepo blank rotors then painted the black

Ebc green stuff front and back.

The car now brakes as it should have from the factory.

Not amazing, but you can have the car loaded and slow down hard on the highway and not have the steering wheel kinda pulse or get that feeling in the pedal that you are losing confidence.

ss lines are a must

 

I opted for the whole thing. Big brake kit from CorkSport. Came with braided lines. Huge improvement over stock. Did sway bar linkage from them as well.

 

^^^those look excellent. That wheel well is super clean too.
