I would appreciate that, and the dealer told me there was no recall for my car. I've been told by multiple dealers. I had the last two SSPs done and it did help a little, but when it gets over about 80 it sucks.

There's a lot of numbers on my invoice, so I'm not really sure which one you need. Here's everything my invoice says

C SSPC5 - Reprogram control unit. Cause: recall factory recall 20914 war
11668 XXT1HBFX
Hope that helps.
How old is your car? If it's fairly new I would assume it already has the update. If you have a digital meat thermometer put it in the air vent to check the temperature. 46F is about the best mine will do in recirculate mode. Most other cars I've checked will go down to 40F, so as stated in the first post of this thread the CX 30 is lacking a bit as far as the AC goes

Compressor is off becasue it reach 50F (not going to argue about 1 or 2 degrees F, that is nothing), as I said have your FAN on Maximum, that will blow cold air faster, further, and longer to cool down cabin faster if it is 100F outside, as I said 50 degrees is cold inside a car but not freezing, it will never be freezing cold.
Mazda as many other car brands have a balancing act between economy and yes even total car weight, to be efficient which is what most customers demand and Governments around the world.
A 10F degree fluctuation in cabin temp is not that bad because of compressor cycle down to 60 before compressor cuts in, 60F is 16C, here even 16C we call that very cool. :)
Good luck, I will post info about AC if I hear/see anything.
I call bs. sorry. If all other manufacturers can have icy cold a/c NOT on recirc or hi fan, the. Mazda can, too. The better mileage argument is a red herring as well. Other manufacturers deal with the same a/c and performance and mpg issues and get the job done. Mazda needs a fix for this.

All vehicles are like this now .. maybe this info will clear some things up as there is nothing wrong with the AC system as iv used it extensively in 80 something degree weather with no issues.. that would make me think that geez the AC can't cool down the vehicle when it's been sitting in the heat for 5 hrs windows closed etc works pretty good.
Disagree not ALL VEHICLES ARE LIKE THIS BOTH MY GTI AND CIVIC, 2 and 3 years old respectively have frigid a/c under all conditions…my cx30 only blows cool air never cold, even on “lo” and recirc

I have a cx3 which almost freezes me to death, while the cx30 is ‘okay’. Gets worse in my country’s 40C temp and with 3 people inside the car.
And yes, I do noticed the cold air ‘stops’ when there’s acceleration.

I've had my CX-30 multiple time in some really hot weather and it does great. The last time, zooming up the 6% grade Grapevine pass from Bakersfield CA , it was 116F (47C) and we were a very comfortable 68F.

I have no complaints either. If it has been sitting in the sun, I set it to LO and on Recirc...not too long bring out the sweater🙂

no problems so far with my a/c system (with temperatures going up into the high 30's), I just make sure the rear console vent is open to give improved circulation throughout the cabin. Very pleased with the operation of the auto system.

I have spent the last week in the mountains with our CX-30, the A/C output temp is significantly reduced in moderate to heavier throttle applications. In low engine load, steady throttle position conditions, it does fine.

As I have said before you will never get FREEZING COLD AC with any latest gen Mazda's even more so those made from about Feb 2021 as all cars must use a new AC Gas which is EPA Certified and 'eco friendly' and is known to be 'less cold'... do you want me to list the last 30 years of AC gases and their properties;

Plus either you want fuel economy or Cold AC, today you cant have both.

Seriously don't quote what your other car BRAND did or did not do, it is not a Mazda they are built to be LIGHT in Weight and Efficient and most important handle better than anything equivalent and still with 5 star safety.

And a CX-3 is not a CX-30 engineering wise a CX-3 is 10 years old in engineering as it is an old Mazda 2 platform.
CX-30 is a 2019 Mazda 3 platform...only similarities is the Skyactiv engines.

I put a meat thermometer in the air vent and took a video to show what my brand new CX 30 is doing. Every time I accelerate the compressor kicks off and the air warms up about 14 degrees even with the airflow on recirculate. Others have suggested it is normal for the compressor to turn off when the throttle is above 50%. The video clearly shows that I am accelerating slowly, certainly less than 50% throttle. I did the same test in a Kia Optima and it cooled to 47 F then went even cooler down to 45 F when I accelerated.
Hello friend,
I have the same problem,
Did you fix the problem or does it still exist?
