What a difference from the above photos when it wasn't sunny.

Some vehicles look so much better in lower-light, cloudy/shadowy conditions IMO. I'm not a fan of my Carbon Edition in heavy, intense sunlight, compared to how it looks otherwise.

The deep crystal blue mica seems to change color depending on the light and the angle you catch it in, as does the red and black. Went through a rain storm recently and stopped to eat, the sun came out and the rain drops looked like blue diamonds set in the paint.

I saw mine showing a clear spot of green in the evening light, but didn't manage to get it.

I have occasionally as well, can not catch the angle to get a consistent reflection let alone get a pic. The mica seems to have a color(s) of it's own.

Deep Crystal Blue Mica is a great looking paint in a wider variety of lighting conditions vs my Carbon Edition (IMO), but I'm still a big hater  on Mazda's choice to put chrome-silver front/side trim & roof rails on the CX-30 given it's thick black cladding, & most especially on the ones with added black wheels/side-mirrors.
